The creation of the Archangel Christine

One day an angel came and I painted her. She appeared on the page in front of me in water colours. I had no idea who she was or what she represented. I just reached for the colours which felt right and let them flow outwards onto already dampened paper. As her shape formed her wings seemed to take on a life of their own. They were raised high and held out as if a beacon to others.

The angel was full of lovely gentle hues of yellows and peach colours and the energies of love and stillness, but she had no message for me or meaning in her colours. It was to be months before I knew who she was. She patiently waited for me to find out. Months later the day came when I read a chapter of a book about angels. It mentioned the Archangel Christine and I instantly knew this was my mystery angel. It is strange how sometimes one just knows things and there can be no other possibilities. As I read about Christine my eyes picked out the words – ‘the female energies of Christ’ and a shiver went through my body. I looked at my image of Christine and shivered again as I saw in her background a cross of light as if it was the light of the cross where Jesus was crucified.

Christine is one of my favourite angels and I have a large picture of her in a frame in my healing room. As the female energy of Christ she brings with her a sense of joy in living and pleasure in whatever life brings and an incredible sense of joy in the moment. Believing in her brings an inner stillness and a sense of reconnecting and sharing with others.
